The role

Providing 12 months maternity fulltime cover for business support and MDO role in our digital business (SunJet, Streamline, Suntex). To provide excellent customer service through maintaining contact with customers and providing accurate and timely information, ensuring orders are delivered to customer expectations or service level agreements. To promote and support sales activities with customers and assisting the sales team with reporting activities.

Skills, Experience &  Qualifications Required

Reporting :

Description – Provide accurate and timely reports on key issues, key statistics and potential improvements on a regular and ad hoc basis as required.
SpecificProducing reports and records as necessary to assist the SunJet team that includes key financial, customer and service information. Report and record specific customer interactions and outcomes that may affect business.

Customer Account Management :

Description – Ensure that both Sun and the customer meet our verbal or contracted agreements on time and in full. Ensure that the account relationship is maintained and improved and that ‘value’ is a part of the understanding of Sun’s delivery.
Specific – Manage the supply, performance and value of the product portfolio to the customers and Sun Chemical’s satisfaction. Build strong relationships with Customer whilst managing expectations. Liaise internally across other functions with an aim of maintaining/increasing Sales, Margin and performance at customers. Setting up and management of the Digital team’s customer label design and for factory support in the production of the label parts.

Input and Maintain Records / Data :

Description – Ensure appropriate data is recorded accurately and in a timely fashion, ensure the regular maintenance of all records.
Specific – Maintenance of SAP Master data, customer and SunJet KPI data. Supports product extensions to the other UK, China and US inkjet plants

IT Systems and Applications :

Description – Works effectively within specific IT systems and applications.
Specific – Highly proficient in SAP systems and Microsoft Office. Management of sales collateral and design of PDS for printing and for publishing in web site.

Reporting :

Description – Provide accurate and timely reports on key issues, key statistics and potential improvements on a regular and ad hoc basis as required.
Specific – Information for sales team decision making such as forecasting and safety stock level management. Handling complaints via ETQ, liaison with CSC and factory regarding ink for trials and customer orders.

Qualifications / Experience Critical for the job Holder

GCSE equivalent Grade C in Maths & English
Previous experience in a customer facing or telesales role Knowledge of SAP desirable
